CPR/CCR Training

The Milton Fire Department can offer CPR and First Aid courses throughout the year. Designed by the American Heart Association, the class is approximately three to six hours long and will cover the basics of CPR (airway maintenance, artificial breathing and how to perform chest compressions). First Aid covers recognizing emergencies, bleeding control, splinting, plus a variety of other life saving topics.

Participants will also learn how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED), a lifesaving tool that is now commonly found in airports, malls, schools and other public places.

Individual classes are not normally held.  Individuals seeking certification may attend one of the public classes held throughout the year, which will be listed on our website.  Class sizes are limited, and per-registration is required.
